IRDR Young Scientists in IRDR ICoE-CCOUC Research Summit

IRDR Young Scientists Dr. Ranit Chatterjee and Dr. Raju Sarkar participated the Research Summit on Health-related Emergency and Disaster Risk Management (H-EDRM) on 9-10 July. This summit was organized by IRDR ICoE-Collaborating Centre for Oxford University and CUHK for Disaster and Medical Humanitarian Response (CCOUC) with WHO Thematic Platform for Health Emergency & Disaster Risk Management Research Network.

“It was an wonderful summit drawing insights from various regions of the world in relation to managing health related emergencies and linking them to global and local policies.
The summit end with a renewed commitment from the attendees to contribute effectively to the health emergencies related action based academics. “, according to Dr. Chatterjee.

IRDR Scientific Committee Member Prof. Virginia Murray was invited as one of the key lecturers.  Ms. Si-yu Yu, the Science Officer of IRDR ICoE-Taipei participated this event as well.
