The workshop, next to researchers and arts experts, also attracted officials from the relevant ministries, regional and local departments of civil defense and cultural heritage. Topics discussed included round tables on the special case of Venice and on the devastating floods of Florence ion the mid-1960’s. All round-tables brought together a wide range of different sets of technical expertise and of administrative and political responsibilities.
