The final report of the IUPsyS-led capacity building workshop on psychological intervention after disasters that was held in Mianyang China in December 2014 is now published on the IUPsyS website. It is also available for download from the link given below. The workshop was mainly sponsored by the Jacobs Foundation, with additional support from the Chinese Association for Science and Technology (CAST) through the Chinese Psychological Society (CPS), the International Council for Science Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (ICSU ROAP), the United Nations University International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH), the International Centre of Excellence on Integrated Research on Disaster Risk (IRDR-ICoE) of the Academy of Sciences located in TaIpei and the Center for Applied Developmental Science (CADS) of the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, Germany. A total of 22 early career researchers from Asia and the Pacific participated in the workshop.
