Survey on Science and Technology for Disaster Risk Reduction

The 2nd Asian Science and Technology Conference for Disaster Risk Reduction on 17-18 of April 2018 was organised by UNISDR with support from IRDR and other partners, which aims to renew the commitment to the accelerated implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030 as the pivotal means to achieve the goals of sustainable development and resilience. The conference generated an outcome document, which reaffirms the importance of the twelve actions identified in the First Asian Science and Technology Conference for Disaster Risk Deduction in 2016, and added two more actions, emerged from this conference.

The purpose of this survey is to collect feedback about the 14 actions from a wide range of stakeholders. The analyses of the survey will be presented at the Asian Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction on 03- 06 July 2018, in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Additionally, we will make the results available through the IRDR website.

The below survey consists of 2 sections: (I) General Information (II) The 14 actions based on the 4 priority areas of the Sendai Framework.

The estimated time for completing the survey is approximately 10-15 minutes.
