The Grand Final of the 2024 International Youth Innovation SDGs Debate Summit in the North China Region was successfully held at the East Lake International Center, the cluster for the headquarters of international science and technology organizations in Beijing, 9 June 2024. The theme of this event is “Green Resonance, Innovative Future”, focusing on the SDG13 “Climate Action” and SDG15 “Life on Land”. Through youth innovation debates, keynote speeches, roundtable discussions and other forms, it gathers the wisdom and strength of global youth to respond to climate change, protect biodiversity, and jointly protect the beautiful home and common future of mankind.

At the Summit site, stakeholders in sustainable development, including government representatives, youth delegates, media, NGOs, and experts, gathered to discuss and collaborate on topics such as green development, disaster response actions, and the role of youth. The participating teams had a fierce competition. Finally, Renmin University of China won the championship, Tianjin Normal University secured the runner-up position, and the joint team from the University of International Business and Economics, China Agricultural University, and Beijing Jiaotong University earned third place.
