All-day seminar “Changing with the Climate” co-organised by AFPCN (IRDR France)

Jointly organized by Conseil général de l’économie (CGE) and Association française de prévention des catastrophes naturelles (AFPCN) – which functions as IRDR National Committee for France, an open and public study day on 30 June under the title « Changer avec le climat ! » was organised as part of AFPCN’s contributions towards undersanding DRR dimensions of the process leading up to COP 21 which will be held in Paris in December 2015. .

Co-organisers for the event were Académie des Technologies (the French national engineering academy) and Observatoire national des effets du réchauffement climatique (ONERC).

The IRDR International Young Scientists Forum (IYSF) 2026 is a three-day international forum organized by IRDR and mainly hosted by IRDR IPO and IRDR ICoE Coherence. The forum brings early career researchers together to advance disaster risk science and its application to policy and practice in support of the Sendai Framework. Its outputs will assess the contribution of science to Sendai Framework implementation and generate forward-looking insights to inform the post-2030 disaster risk reduction agenda.
