IRDR ICoE-CCOUC Research Summit on Health-related Emergency and Disaster Risk Management

 Research Summit on Health-related Emergency and Disaster Risk Management (H-EDRM) on 9-10 July is organized by IRDR ICoE-Collaborating Centre for Oxford University and CUHK for Disaster and Medical Humanitarian Response (CCOUC) 
Organized in collaboration with WHO Thematic Platform for Health Emergency & Disaster Risk Management Research Network, this 2-day summit aims to bring together researchers and experts to share knowledge and experience in collaborative efforts to promote research activities and practice in Health-related Emergency and Disaster Risk Management.

The overall theme of the research summit is “Partnership in Action“. We are pleased to have prestigious speakers from international health agent, policy making organisation, research institutes and medical journal to share their insights and experience with us.  Please find the details of the event below:

Presenters will be given a maximum of 10mins to share their research in an open format (ppt, poster, video, etc.).

The IRDR International Young Scientists Forum (IYSF) 2026 is a three-day international forum organized by IRDR and mainly hosted by IRDR IPO and IRDR ICoE Coherence. The forum brings early career researchers together to advance disaster risk science and its application to policy and practice in support of the Sendai Framework. Its outputs will assess the contribution of science to Sendai Framework implementation and generate forward-looking insights to inform the post-2030 disaster risk reduction agenda.
